This gives the wood its warm honey-yellow tone and the expressive grain of the olive wood is even more impressive.

The magic and beauty of olive wood captivated Olivenholz-Erleben in 2003 in the small mountain village of Carcasonne in the south of France on the way to Spain. People lined up in front of a small shop where the founders of Olivenholz-Erleben saw the beautiful olive wood and the people who were captivated by it. When they returned home to Germany, they decided to begin working with Olive wood as a basis for their many products.
